What is RSS?

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML format designed for sharing web content like news headlines.

An RSS service (also known as an RSS channel) consists of a list of items, each of which contains a headline, description, and a link to a web page.

How do I use RSS?

To subscribe to RSS feeds you will require a RSS news reader. There are a variety of news readers available, many for free. Most news readers are applications that you download and install, some are web-based that work within your browser.

Subscribing to the GKN News Feed

After setting up your news reader you will be ready to use the GKN RSS. To subscribe right-click on the orange RSS icon and select "Copy Shortcut" or "Copy Link Location" to copy the location of the service. Follow the instructions for your particular news reader, and then paste this location whenever it asks for the location of the service you wish to subscribe to.
